Trinitrotoluene, or more commonly known as "TNT" (often confused for "dynamite", which is actually nitroglycerine) and for being a very powerful explosive. This was first made in 1863 by Joseph Wilbrand, a German chemist, who was working with the production of dyes. It was 20 years later that the explosive properties were discovered, and the dangers of working with TNT have since been well documented.
This molecular structure is cast in 10k or 14k solid gold with the chemical bonds represented by 3mm AA quality genuine birthstones of your choice. The overall length of the piece is approximately 40mm (1.6 inches) and mounted on an 18” gold chain with a jump ring at 16” for your choice of lengths.
